The joy of becoming a mother, the excitement when the little one kicks and the unpredictable pregnancy cravings is just a blissful moments for expecting mothers but miscarriage is a bad news in the happy story, it is an unexpected storm that leaves most mothers devastated. But did you know that having a miscarriage depends on a woman’s body and vitals and since 80% of miscarriages happen within the first three months of pregnancy, it is important to know the symptoms so you won’t ignore them.

Bleeding: “Bleeding in spots is normal during pregnancy but heavy bleeding indicates a serious problem and it is advisable for you to check it immediately with your doctor, this does not mean that bleeding in spots can be ignored so your doctor should be updated about your bleeding”.
Pain: “Pain in the abdomen, lower back and pelvic region preferably requires a check-up at the hospital therefore, it is advisable to not avoid such situations”.
Blood clots: “Not just blood drops, even blood clots that pass out from you vagina should be reported to the doctor, blood clots in the early stages of pregnancy means miscarriage, therefore, it is important for you to check it with your doctor”.
Movement of the foetus: “The foetus usually starts moving in the fourth month of pregnancy and the mother will be able to feel her baby moving and developing in the womb. But, if the mother cannot feel any sort of movement in her tummy, it is mandatory to rush to the hospital”.
